ABOUT
Hey, I'm Meredith! I have just recently relocated to Minneapolis, MN after living in Missoula, MT for the past 13 years.
For the six years I've been breaking, grinding, and soldering, I have developed a deep love for the craft of stained glass. No stranger to the creative process, I was initially drawn to photography and its study of light, composition, and color, which translates well into the medium of stained glass.
My creative journey has led me to explore a variety of media, but glass holds a special place in my heart. This craft challenges me both conceptually and physically, blending the right amount of hands-on work and creativity.
Inspiration comes to me in many forms. Currently, I am exploring the psychology of color in relation to other colors and people's emotional responses. At other times, I am struck by ideas from nature, such as creating permanent colorful flowers set in a window to bring joy during the cold winter months. I hope that my creations evoke a sense of wonder and happiness; a playful presentation of color.
As a photographer, I know that the best light, known as the 'golden hour,' appears at sunrise and sunset. Since light is essential to making a stained glass piece come alive, I named my business after this magical time.
